Every package can open with a cover page. Choose a colour theme, add your logo, write a cover line, and optionally include a table of contents — on the cover itself or as a separate page.

Write commentary with live figures inline

Text sections support financial variables — placeholders that resolve to live figures when the package is built. Write your commentary once and the numbers update automatically each period.

  • Insert financial figures — account values, KPIs, statement totals — as inline variables in any text section
  • Insert custom dataset values alongside financial figures
  • Reference the current month or entity name as a variable so headers and commentary stay accurate
  • Control number format — decimal places, thousands separator, abbreviation (K / M / B), and currency symbol

A Free Canvas section gives you a blank page where every block — text, chart, table, or image — is positioned and sized by dragging. Use it for executive summary pages or any layout that does not fit a fixed grid.

Not everything lives in BrizoConsol. Upload a workbook, a report, or any document and include it as a section in the package. It sits alongside live BrizoConsol data in the same output.

Open the package in a viewer and switch between paged mode — one section per page, matching the PDF layout — and continuous mode, where all sections flow on one scroll.

Common questions

How many sections can an Insight Package have?
There is no fixed limit. You can add as many sections as the package needs — in any combination of types — and reorder them by drag-and-drop at any time in the package builder.
Can I mix BrizoConsol data with uploaded files in the same package?
Yes. A package can contain live BrizoConsol sections — reports, dashboards, cell reports, Pulse highlights — alongside Imported Excel and Imported Document sections, all in a single output.
What file types can I import as a document section?
You can upload a PDF or Word (.docx) file and include it as an Imported Document section. The file is embedded and renders in the package viewer and in PDF exports alongside the rest of the pack.
Can I schedule delivery to multiple recipients?
Yes. Each schedule lets you add as many email recipients as you need — board members, management teams, or external stakeholders. All recipients receive the generated PDF on the scheduled date and time.
Does the Free Canvas section appear in the PDF export?
Yes. All section types, including Free Canvas, are included in PDF exports. Block positions and sizes are stored as percentages of the page, so they scale correctly whether the section is set to portrait or landscape.
Can I use different colour themes for different packages?
Yes. Cover settings — including colour theme, custom gradient, logo, and cover text — are configured per package. You can run a teal board pack, a navy management pack, and a custom-branded client report all from the same account.
Can sections be nested as sub-sections?
Yes. Sections can be nested under a parent section, and you control whether each sub-section starts on a new page. This is useful for grouping related topics — for example, Financial Statements with Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow nested beneath it.
